Patrick Mahomes is pretty much everything you want in a starting quarterback in the NFL. He has already won three Super Bowls. kansas city chiefsHe has won two NFL MVP awards and was named Super Bowl MVP three times.
But there’s one thing he really wants right now.
Starting in 2017, the NFL will no longer release videos of his combine workouts.
At the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine, Mahomes ran the 40-yard dash in 4.80 seconds, the sixth-fastest quarterback tested in Indianapolis that year. Texas A&M Posted by quarterback Trevor Knight. Fastest time among quarterbacks, 4.54.
Mahomes ran faster than several quarterbacks, including Cooper Rush, DeShone Kizer and Mitch Leidner.
When this year’s combine was set to begin, Mahomes made a polite request to the NFL.

of NFL NetworkBut he had other ideas. And not only did they use his 40-yard dash as an overlay, they also did it during defensive lineman training. The network likened Mahomes to two defensive tackles, Braden Fisk and T’Vondre Sweat, who led the DTs with a 4.78 40-yard dash.
There was little Mahomes could do other than reply with a perfect GIF.
Maybe winning three Super Bowls will ease his pain.
