Patrick Mahomes's grandfather has received hospice care, and Randy Mahomes, the mother of Chief Scorterback, announced on Friday.
The news was just two days before the chief held a bill in the Sunday AFC championship game.
“My father is in Hospice, and I'm getting lost in words,” Randy wrote in her Instagram story, including photos of her father and daughter's duo.
Randy used to share posts on what his father was not in good health last fall, but did not disclose accurate diagnosis.
Mahomes and his wife, Bull Tane, have not yet dealt with the situation.
The couple adapt to their lives as five families, and the three super bowl champions have three consecutive titles with Chiefs.
NFL has never won three straight super bowls.
Mahomes and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model welcomed Goldenley, the second daughter on January 12, on January 12, on January 12.
