Despite his defeat, Patrick Mahomes showed love to those around him throughout the season.
The Chiefs noticed that Midnight was about to attack the quest for the Super Bowl three consecutive titles, so Mahomes lined up with their respective skill players and fell on the team bench.
The procession ended with Mahomes embracing Kelce in a long embrace, and the Chiefs tight end seemed to say something to Mahomes' ears.

The moment between Mahomes and Kels may become even more important depending on whether the tight end comes back to play in another season.
Kansas City fell to the 40-22 Eagles as the Chiefs prevented them from making NFL history by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowl titles.
The Chiefs didn't score their first points in the third quarter until less than one minute left.
Mahomes threw for 257 yards with 21 completions with three touchdowns and two interceptions.

He was also fired six times for a 31-yard loss.
“We didn't start the way we wanted. Clearly the turnover hurts.” Mahomes said. “I just had to take all the responsibility for that. These early sales wielded the momentum of the game and took advantage of them. They scored on one and quickly got a touchdown. I got. That's the 14 points I gave them and it's hard to get back then in the Super Bowl. I didn't play to my standards so I need to get better next time.”
The Eagles' Sunday victory was a bit of a revenge for Philadelphia, losing to Kansas City two years ago.
