For Patrick Mahomes, it was an Easter Sunday filled with family.
The Chiefs star quarterback, 28, was enjoying a casual afternoon with his wife Brittany, also 28, and their children, daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 1, said the mother of two. According to a snapshot shared on Instagram,
In the photobook, the foursome posed by the pool, all rocking different shades of blue.
Mahomes, who just won his third Super Bowl, also watched as Sterling and Bronze participated in an Easter egg hunt.
“Which ones are Bronzy’s?” Brittany asked as her son scooped up an egg. “well done!”
It’s been an eventful spring for Mahomes and Brittany. A person celebrating their 2nd wedding anniversary March.
The longtime couple, who started dating when they were in high school, tied the knot in Hawaii in March 2022.
“Happy anniversary to me forever,” Brittany wrote in a tribute on Instagram last month.
A few days later, Mahomes and Brittany, co-owners of the NWSL club Kansas City Current, watched their team defeat the Portland Thorns 5-4 at CPKC Stadium for the Current’s first win.
“I want to say thank you for coming today. This is history, it’s unbelievable and it’s great that you all come to your stadium for them,” said the former footballer. Player Brittany said before the game.
CPKC Stadium is “the world’s first stadium built exclusively for a women’s professional team.” According to Current’s website.
Mahomes said he would welcome teammate Travis Kelce and the tight end’s girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, to future games.
“Maybe someday we’ll get her here. She’s a busy woman and Travis is a busy man,” Mahomes said. According to Bleacher Report.
“So, maybe during the season or something like that, we’ll be taking her out to Kansas City Current games. She loves rooting for Kansas City as much as we do, I’m sure Brittany will be able to nudge her and get her here easily.”
Swift, 34, and Brittany developed a friendship throughout the 2023 NFL season, often attending Chiefs games together.
The 14-time Grammy winner, who has been dating Kelsey, 34, since last summer, celebrated Kansas City’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl with Brittany in Las Vegas.
Swift is currently on hiatus from her blockbuster Ellas Tour, with plans to resume performances in Europe next month.
