Should the Patriots be Underdogs in Super Bowl LX?

The New England Patriots faced a 4.5-point loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, prompting head coach Mike Vrabel to remark, “Our record speaks for itself.” Colin Cowherd has raised the question of whether support should swing towards the Seahawks.

Concerns arise regarding Patriots quarterback Drake Maye as Super Bowl LX approaches, although the second-year player appears unphased by his injury status.

Maye began the week in Santa Clara dealing with a shoulder issue, yet both he and the coaching staff have downplayed its seriousness ahead of the match.

“I feel good. I’m fine,” Maye remarked on the opening night of the Super Bowl. “I threw well and practiced as much as usual. I’m eager to get back to practice Wednesday and Thursday, gearing up for my standard prep on Friday.”

Originally listed as questionable during the bye week, Maye also dealt with some illness. However, since arriving in San Francisco on Sunday, he feels he’s “turned a corner.” He added, “I felt good on the flight today and throwing. There’s no doubt I’ll be 100 percent for the game. This is the Super Bowl. I had two weeks to prepare and did everything necessary to achieve a positive outcome. I’m confident and ready.”

As a potential MVP candidate this year, Maye is set to give his all at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday.

Entering this game as the youngest starting quarterback with a chance to secure a Super Bowl win, Maye is just 49 days younger than Dan Marino, who holds the record for the youngest player to participate, although he didn’t win the championship in 1984.

Despite some playoff struggles, Vrabel has confidence in his quarterback. He noted that Maye’s performance during practice has been encouraging.

“I thought the ball looked good, and it was a solid practice for Drake and the team,” Vrabel stated.
