Patriots quarterback Tommy DeVito starts a new relationship in vacation pictures

Backup quarterback Tommy DeVito of the Patriots shared details about his relationship on Wednesday, posting vacation photos from the Turks and Caicos Islands on Instagram.

Among the images was one featuring DeVito with a woman named Michaila, showing her leaning comfortably against him in an elevator.

In a comment, she referred to him affectionately, saying, “My 🐔🫶🏼.”

DeVito replied to her comment with several emojis featuring heart hands.

Jackson Dart, DeVito’s former teammate with the Giants, also chimed in, commenting, “Launch, yay 👀.”

DeVito joked, mentioning that Dart likely felt pressured to share his relationship because he saw others doing so first, referencing Dart’s romance with Marissa Ayers, who announced their relationship online last December.

Before joining the Patriots, DeVito played two seasons with the Giants but was released last August. He was later picked up by the Patriots.

The timeline of DeVito and Michaila’s relationship isn’t completely clear, but she was spotted at a Patriots game in October, carrying a clear bag with his number 16 on it. She captioned the photo with, “Sunday is for 🏈.”

The Patriots signed DeVito to a two-year contract worth $4.4 million, which includes $2 million guaranteed, during the offseason.

After the team released quarterback Joshua Dobbs last month, DeVito moved up to the number two spot on the depth chart behind Drake Maye.

Last season, DeVito didn’t play a game as he was New England’s third option.

In the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he was on the field for 12 games, completing 145 out of 222 passes for 1,358 yards along with eight touchdowns and three interceptions, earning a positive reputation among Giants fans.

After the Giants selected Dart in the draft, DeVito became the least favored option in their quarterback lineup, especially with the addition of Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.

Wilson began the 2025 season as the starting quarterback, with the team turning to Dart, the 25th pick in last year’s draft, in Week 4, while Winston stepped in as his backup.
