Paul Skenneth’s All-Star Game Moment with Girlfriend Livivy Dan
Paul Skenneth’s talent as a boyfriend might be just as impressive as his skills on the field.
The Pirates pitcher took a moment on the MLB All-Star Game red carpet to help his girlfriend, social media influencer and former LSU gymnast Olivia “Livivy” Dan, who was struggling with her heels. It seems that after a little hiccup, he came to her rescue.
Kneeling down, Skenneth fixed her shoes before they continued their walk down the carpet. They were spotted together at Trust Park in Atlanta, ahead of the All-Star Game.
Skenneth sported a gray David Alan suit paired with light blue details and aviator sunglasses, while Dan dazzled in a navy sleeveless dress by Sylvia Tikasi, complemented by her white lace-up heels.
On her Instagram Story, Dan shared a post from MLB highlighting “Gentleman Paul Skenneth.” She also posted a video on her TikTok, playfully captioning it “Big P to the Rescue,” with a burning heart emoji.
The couple has been together for two years, having initially met while both were athletes at LSU.
As for Skenneth, he’s had a standout season with a 2.01 ERA and 131 strikeouts, earning his second consecutive All-Star start, despite the Pirates’ struggles and only four wins to his name.
“Yes, wins and losses matter,” Skenneth mentioned on the red carpet during an interview with the MLB Network. “It’s not a perfect statistic, but it can show if you’re in the game when it counts.”
Throughout the season, he explained that he has been fine-tuning his pitch, experimenting since spring training.
Dan, who graduated from LSU in December, hinted at her own ambitions. “I’m trying to attend as many games as I can right now. I love watching him play, but I’m also looking to dive deeper into performing arts—maybe acting or other things. I’ve always enjoyed it since my gymnastics days,” she shared.
