Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson at NHL Playoffs
Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson were spotted at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoff Eastern Conference Semi-finals, where the Florida Panthers faced off against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Gretzky sported a leather jacket featuring the Panthers’ vintage logo, while Johnson wore a Panthers jersey customized with his name. The couple enjoyed the game from a suite with NHL legends Wayne Gretzky and Ty Domi above the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
Gretzky shared a collage of moments from the game on her Instagram, captioning it “Panther Club.” This duo often attends Panthers games; they cheered alongside fans last season, celebrating the team’s Stanley Cup victory.
During this match, the Panthers managed to shut down the Maple Leafs, leveling the series. Goals by Sam Bennett and Carter Verhaeghe led Florida to victory.
However, some drama unfolded as Maple Leafs player Max Domi faced criticism for a late hit on Alexander Barkov, which resulted in a major penalty for boarding. Following the incident, the NHL fined Domi $5,000 on Monday morning.
In terms of defense, Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was impressive, blocking all 23 shots from the Maple Leafs.
“It had a look,” noted Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube, commenting on the match strategy. “They do a good job of crowding us with numbers. Clearly… that’s the fight there. This is what it is.”
Looking ahead, Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday night in Canada.
