Pelosi Critiques Trump in Recent CNN Interview
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, has strongly criticized President Donald Trump, labeling him a “vile creature” and claiming he is “the worst person on the planet” during a recent interview with CNN.
“He really is just a vile creature. The absolute worst thing out there,” Pelosi stated.
Interviewer Erex Michaelson pressed her by asking, “Do you believe he’s truly the worst person on the planet?” to which she responded emphatically, “Yes, yes, yes.”
Proposition 50 Voting in California
As California’s special election on Proposition 50 unfolds, the potential for significant changes in congressional districts looms large. Voters are determining whether this bill will reshape the state’s political landscape, placing California at the forefront of the redistricting debate.
While some have dismissed Proposition 50 as merely a “power grab” by Democrats, Pelosi defended the initiative, asserting that the real danger comes from Trump. She indicated that the proposal is part of an effort to counteract his influence.
When asked about her strong choice of words, she outlined her concerns. “He disrespects the Constitution. He has turned the Supreme Court corrupt. He effectively abolished the House of Representatives and intimidated the press. Plus, he’s instilling fear in those who are legally in our country,” she expressed.
Pelosi’s Political Future
Pelosi refrained from confirming her intentions for re-election in her district but asserted her confidence in winning if she decides to run. “I have no doubt that if I choose to run, I will win. It’s really not even a question. I wouldn’t call it arrogance; I think it’s confidence,” she noted.
Stressing her focus, she explained that her primary goal is to help secure a Democratic House majority. She sees Proposition 50 as a crucial first step toward achieving that aim. “The only reason I’m in Congress this term is to win a Democratic House and protect us from the dangers of the Trump era,” she concluded.
Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for a response, but none was immediately available.
