Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that former President Donald Trump “is clearly a fraud.”
Host Jen Psaki said, “You’ve been pre-empting for a long time that Trump is a fraud. The fact that you’re trying to pay for it feels like that’s the example in front of you. I know it’s not the Republican donors you’re worried about, but they’re getting ripped off. Is that so?”
“I think it’s clear that Trump is a fraud. That’s what it is. The integrity that we all always want to deepen in politics and government just went with him,” Pelosi said. People who are willing to hand over money to pay legal costs should be told that this is where they are spending their money.”
“It’s important that people know about this fraudster and what he’s up to,” Psaki said. “Let’s talk about the 14th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. Without your role, it wouldn’t exist. I wouldn’t have, I confirm that. I was in the Obama administration at the time, and one of the things that people might take for granted is that they’re still at risk. Trump has made it clear he wants to abolish it.”
“For those of you who don’t have much of an affinity for the truth, this is one of those times where Donald Trump is telling the truth,” Pelosi said. He wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act. He crudely said Obamacare was the worst. it’s not. ”
