The strange case of a missing bobblehead has been solved.
The Jaromir Jagr bobblehead that was stolen from the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier this month has been recovered, the team announced Monday.
“The Penguins were made aware last week that a special cargo recovery team negotiated the return of the stolen items to a secure warehouse in Ontario, California,” the team said in a press release. “A truckload of cargo arrived in Pittsburgh today and will be delivered to the PPG Paints Arena within the next week.”
The bobblehead was scheduled to be handed out at the March 14 game against the Sharks, but the team revealed the package was stolen and gave fans vouchers to pick up at a later date.
The team plans to allow fans with these vouchers to receive bobbleheads starting April 6th and April 7th.
The Penguins did not say where the bobblehead was recovered or how it was stolen in the first place.
This bizarre story made headlines across the country, and the penguins were having fun with the situation.

The team worked with Juggle to create a short 19-second video that shows the Penguins legend holding out hope inside a car loaded with one of his bobbleheads, possibly the missing bobblehead. It appears they are on a search.
