The hellish commute begins again.
Commuters at Penn Station on Friday morning saw New Jersey Transit and Amtrak trains slow or stop altogether for the third time this week.
NJ Transit trains experienced the nuisance around 7:45 a.m. when they were suspended from service to and from the Midtown transportation hub due to an issue with Amtrak overhead lines, NJ Transit tweeted.
There was a 45-minute delay, but service resumed just under three hours later, according to the tweet.
Amtrak service at Penn Station was delayed by more than 60 minutes, the railroad company said on Twitter.
As of midday on Friday, train services were still being disrupted by delays.
Kanesha Hayes, a 39-year-old sanitation worker, was already stranded Thursday at the University of Pennsylvania in 97-degree heat with a train full of other passengers.
She worried she would be late for work Friday morning.
“It’s the worst I’ve seen this year,” she told The Post.
The crowded, delayed service capped a rough week for commuters who use Penn Station, a much-hated transportation hub that Gov. Kathy Hawkle calls a “hell hole.”
