Siegel, who represents the area where the shooting occurred, said he is optimistic police and the district attorney’s office will pursue those responsible for the shooting.
“I am appalled by another violent incident in my district, staining our streets with blood and robbing our residents and neighbors of their peace of mind,” the mayor said. “But violent perpetrators will never win, and Allentown will not allow them to rob our community of the safety it deserves.”
Holihan said the shooting remains under investigation and it is too early to determine a motive.
