Pentagon Doubles Number Of News Outlets To ‘Rotate’ Out From Office Spaces


Washington, USA:

The U.S. Department of Defense on Friday doubled the number of press agencies that must have pentagonal office space available to be replaced by other media under the new “annual media rotation program.”

The department said in a memo it is adding CNN, the Washington Post, hills and war zones to shops where dedicated spaces must be abandoned. These organizations did not respond immediately to requests for comment.

In the first round, the Department of Defense said a week ago that the New York Times, NBC News, Politico and National Public Radio had to open dedicated workspaces at the Pentagon.
