Jack Teixeira has reached an agreement with federal prosecutors to plead guilty.

On Thursday, federal prosecutors filed a Rule 11 hearing in Boston, indicating that Teixeira would plead guilty.
The 22-year-old is accused of leaking classified defense intelligence documents online over several weeks to a group of young gamers.
On gaming chat platform Discord, he told members of the group that he worked at a military base and claimed to have access to high-level government information not available to the public. He shared more than 100 classified documents with the group on stage.
Among the documents he shared were information on military activity in the region, including reconnaissance aircraft, U.S. officials’ opinions on the training and readiness of the Ukrainian military, and the number of Russian and Ukrainian casualties and destroyed equipment. He was arrested in April and faces charges including possessing and transmitting classified information related to national defense.
His plea agreement has not yet been publicly filed.
