Former Vice President Kamala Harris recently shared a TikTok video that many are talking about.
In the clip, she pretends to confide in someone about her own life.
“People think you’re just on a beach enjoying a margarita, but in reality, you’re busy writing a book, meeting with your team, and considering the future of our nation,” she said before turning to the camera, asking, “Who said that?”

“This is probably one of the most unexpected women ever,” remarked one user, as many were not very forgiving in their comments.
“I’m just so over it. It’s hard to watch,” another user expressed.
“They really haven’t learned anything. It’s actually quite noteworthy,” one person mused. “I’ll just forget all these Democratic political strategists and have a good laugh at them.”
The TikTok comes as Harris promotes her upcoming book, offering a “behind-the-scenes look” at her brief campaign against President Trump, which she describes as “deeply personal.”
“Just a year ago, I kicked off my presidential campaign. It turned out to be the shortest campaign in modern history—107 days of travel across the country, fighting for our future,” she mentioned in a video while holding her book.
“It was intense, highly engaging, and meaningful to me and many of you. Since taking office, I’ve reflected a lot on those days, discussing it with my team, family, and friends while essentially writing this book—a journal capturing those 107 days of thoughts and reflection,” she added.
She noted that one essential truth struck her while writing the book.
“We will never stop fighting to truly represent our people and uphold our ideals,” she said.
The book’s release comes after Harris announced she would not be running for governor of California, despite earlier speculation.
“Recently, I’ve been seriously contemplating asking Californians for the privilege of serving as governor,” Harris stated. “I love this state, its people, and its opportunities. It’s my home. But after much thought, I’ve decided not to pursue the governorship in this election.”
“Right now, my role in leadership and public service doesn’t involve holding an elected position,” Harris continued. “I’m looking forward to engaging with the American people, supporting Democrats nationwide who are committed to fighting for the right causes, and discussing my plans for the coming months.”
In the 2024 presidential election, President Donald Trump won against former Vice President Kamala Harris, receiving 312 electoral votes compared to Harris’s 226. He also secured over 2 million more votes in the popular count.
