Pete Hegseth shoots down ‘totally fake’ report about makeup studio — and takes apparent jab at Tim Walz

Defense Secretary Pete Hegses fell into a report claiming he had a make-up studio at the Pentagon, taking a jab at failed vice presidential candidate Tim Waltz.

Heggs said he made changes to the room next to the Pentagon Press Briefing Room and set up a make-up studio, according to the report. Sources who spoke to CBS News said the renovation was intended to prepare him for television shots and reportedly cost him thousands of dollars.

“The left-wing ‘news’ media would have loved it. ”

Hegseth denied Report on social media on Wednesday.

“A totally a fake story. There’s no “order” or “makeup”, but anything,” he wrote.

“Instead, we had to install tampon machines in every man’s bathroom at DOD. The left-wing ‘news’ media would have loved it,” he added.

The jab appears to be a reference to a general topic of Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz, who ran for vice president in the 2024 election. During the campaign, Republicans laughed at him to sign the law I need it His state public schools provide tampons and menstrual pads to all students, including boys.

Democrats have called for Hegseth’s resignation since the embarrassing leak of defense plans related to the attack on the Houthi Terror group. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat on the far left of Texas, mocked Hegses and the Trump administration in a makeup studio report.

“Pete Hegses treats pentagons like Fox’s news set. He orders makeup studios with sensitive information leaked through signal chat.” She posted. “This is what happens when you’re in charge of national security.”

President Donald Trump has Rejected Criticism and he said he was by Hegses’ side.

Since the Democrat’s devastating election, Waltz says the country has not been prepared for a positive tone of the Democratic message.

“We had a pledge to be inclusive. We had a pledge to bring people there,” he said in December. “Donald Trump says that’s not what he wants, so if that’s what America is leaning, I think it’s about understanding and learning more about America, because I thought they would probably move towards a more positive message.”
