Pete Hegseth SLAMS Democrat senators lying

Pete Hegseth is Donald Trump's nominee for Secretary of Defense and is currently undergoing the first confirmation hearing for a Trump Cabinet nominee. However, the hearing was not without its challenges.

But despite the difficulties, Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show” is thrilled with how Hegseth has been handling it.

“He's really rewriting the textbook on how Cabinet-level nominees should stand up to a hostile Democratic opposition in the Senate,” she commented, adding, “By the way, Trump who puts Hegseth first “The president-elect is very smart,” he added.

“Hegseth is probably one of the hardest, if not the most difficult, people to verify. Not because he is inferior in any way, but because the left had to carry out an all-out attack, a character assassination, on Hegseth.” explains Wheeler.

Sen. Tim Kaine took part in the character assassination, slamming accusations about Hegseth's private life and behind-closed-doors actions. But despite Mr. Kaine's attempts to infuriate Mr. Hegseth, Mr. Trump's nominee was more than happy to oblige.

“I have made some mistakes in my life, but thankfully I have been saved by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” Hegseth said.

Mr. Kane asked, “When you finalized the divorces between your first wife and your second wife, were there any non-disclosure agreements in place in connection with those divorces?'' Do you agree?” he asked. “Have you ever been physically violent towards your wife?”

“Absolutely not,” Hegseth replied to the latter question. When Kane continued to press Hegseth about whether he would be hypothetically eligible for military service if he committed an act of violence against his spouse, Hegseth silenced him.

“Senator, I have asserted that false allegations have been made against me,” Hegseth responded. “I have the opportunity to prove my innocence of those false allegations.”

Elizabeth Warren has also made similar accusations against X.

“The false charges brought against Pete Hegseth are terrible,” Wheeler said, noting that what Kaine and Warren are doing engages in what she calls “anti-Americanism.”

“The American ethos allows Pete Hegseth due process of law. We enjoy a presumption of innocence until proven guilty in the criminal justice system,” Wheeler said.

“What happened in the Pete Hegseth case was that he was falsely accused of sexual assault because the woman he allegedly had an affair with was married at the time, but Pete Hegseth “She regretted it when her husband found out about her sexual infidelity,” she continued.

“Falsely accusing men of sexual violence is evil,” she added.
