Golfer Adam Hadwin stole frustration on the golf course in the second round of the Balsper Championship on Friday, but the course fought back.
At par 4 pounds, Hadwin had his third shot from 44 yards in the rough. The 37-year-old Canadian hit a shot into a greenside bunker just before the green and was not pleased.
Hadwin slammed the club into the ground with both hands, but upon contact he heard the sprinkler's head hanging instead of grass, and Innisbrook Resort's Copper Head Course informed him of its presence.

The sprinkler sprayed water as Hadwin stood helpless. He tried to step on the sprinkler to disable it, and ultimately resorted to just squatting by it while waiting to turn it off.
After the sprinklers were turned off, Hadwin putts twice for a double bogey after escaped the bunker.
Hadwin finished his second round with a 76, five over par that day, missing a cut on three shots.

The Hadwin explosion was one of the few that have ever happened at the Valspar Championship.
Sahith Theegala was tired of a tee shot on the third and fourth hole during play on Friday.
Tegala's club fell from his hands during his backswing. With the ball tailed to the right and far from Tegara's intended target, Tegara picked up his iron and tomahawk it to the ground before the ball landed.

On Thursday, Patton Kizaia removed her frustration with the green. Kizia missed a short putt and he punted the putter as he walked towards the ball. The club landed far from Kijar on the greenery after a few seconds of hang time.
After that, Kizaia went and grabbed a wedge from his bag to tap his putt.
One player who is unhappy with his play is Byeong-Hun, who at the time of writing, is solo lead with a 7-under par in the third round of the Valspar Championship.
