Ben Griffin’s First Year on PGA Tour Ends with Marriage

Ben Griffin wraps up his first year on the PGA Tour as a newlywed.

This past Saturday, the 29-year-old golfer tied the knot with his fiancée, Dana Meyeroff, at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. The couple’s special day was shared with 125 guests who, according to Meyeroff, truly got to “experience the magic” of South Florida.

She mentioned, “A wedding is typically a once-in-a-lifetime occasion when all of your loved ones gather in the same place to celebrate. We wanted to prioritize the guest experience, especially since most of them traveled from out of state to enjoy Palm Beach.” It sounds like they put a lot of thought into making it memorable.

The couple, who got engaged after dating for two years, expressed their excitement about reading the vows they wrote for each other. “We were really looking forward to that,” Meyeroff said last July.

According to reports, the ceremony was officiated by Doug Sieg, the CEO of Lord Abbett, who played a big role in funding Griffin’s return to golf. Interestingly, Griffin had stepped away from the sport four years ago and made his comeback to the tour in 2023.

On Instagram, Meyeroff shared her happiness, declaring it the “Best weekend of my life,” which gives a glimpse into how special the occasion was for them.

It’s certainly a year to remember for both of them.

Griffin achieved notable milestones in his career this year. He earned his first PGA Tour victory at the Zurich Classic in April alongside Andrew Novak. Just a month later, he notched his first solo win at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Meyeroff expressed how proud she was, stating, “It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to see the person you love the most achieve their childhood dreams. I’m so proud of Ben and the journey he’s taken to get here. Turns out your dreams come true, and so do mine.”

His impressive performances led him to triumph over Team USA’s captain, Keegan Bradley, during this year’s Ryder Cup. Following Team Europe’s victory at Bethpage Black, Griffin secured his third PGA win at the World Wide Technology Championship in November.

As of now, he ranks 9th in the world, a remarkable feat in such a short time.
