Cristobal del Solar shot a 13-under 57 on Thursday at the Astara Golf Championship Presents by Mastercard Korn Ferry Tour event. He did it on the par-70, 6,254-yard Pacos Course at Country Club de Bogotá.

The 30-year-old was out after 27 strokes, tying the lowest nine-hole score in Korn Ferry Tour history. He had six birdies and one eagle on the first nine.
Del Solar birdied the first and third holes, then blacked out for four straight birdies. He closed out the front nine with an eagle on the par-4 ninth.
The native Chilean shot 30, added three birdies and came home with his second eagle of the day. He shot a strong 54 to finish at 13 under after 15 holes. Del Solar made three consecutive pars to secure a 57.
This course may be the shortest on the Tour’s schedule, but it has an elevation gain of about 9,000 feet and is considered a tricky course.
He carved his name into PGA Tour history, joining the ranks of elite players in the sub-60 club.
Del Solar entered the event in great form after finishing tied for fourth in the season opener at the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay. He also posted a T27 at the Panama Championship last week.
