PGA Tour golfer Sam Burns expressed support for President-elect Donald Trump in a social media post on Monday.
Burns posted a photo of himself holding a buck he appeared to have just killed. He wore a camouflage hat that read “Make America Great Again” and posed with a gold coin.

“Deer hunting is amazing again!” he captioned the Instagram photo.
Burns appears to have joined the growing number of professional athletes who have expressed support for the president-elect in recent days. UFC fighters, NFL players, golfers and soccer stars are all showing their support for President Trump with dances celebrating him.
Barnes becomes the latest player to wear a MAGA hat, weeks after San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa donned the hat during a postgame interview on NBC.

Former NFL star Brian Urlacher has a theory as to why players have openly supported him this election cycle, but not the past two.
“People have been scared for a while. If you're a Donald Trump supporter, you don't want people to say bad things about you. It's been a long time coming,” Urlacher said on Fox News Channel's “Jesse Watters.” Golden time. ”
“I don't think anyone is scared anymore now. It's nice to see these people come out and all the people who are silently supporting Trump, they're always showing up in the polls. … I think they're just excited because he got the job done, and he's going to get the job done over the next four years. ”

Burns made his PGA Tour debut in 2017 and has won five times since then. He has yet to win a major championship. His best finish at a major tournament was a tie for ninth at the U.S. Open earlier this year.
