The PGA Tour’s season-long race culminates this week with the FedExCup finale, the Tour Championship, at East Lake Golf Club.
Last week, Keegan Bradley, ranked 50th, won the BMW Championship, moving from last place to first and finishing in the top 30.
It’s the final playoff event of the season and there’s a lot of prize money on the line: The winner of the Tour Championship will take home a bonus of $25 million, an increase of $7 million from 2023.
The runner-up will receive $12.5 million, third place will receive $7.5 million, and even more impressive is that the top 12 finishers will each receive seven-figure prizes.
There was movement among the top 30 players, with four dropping out and four newcomers joining the ranks.
Let’s take a look at the new Top 30 playing in Atlanta this week, and after we review the official list, we’ll discuss who was dropped and who was replaced.

Bradley rose to 46th in the rankings and took fourth place, and many other players dropped in the rankings because of Bradley.
Adam Scott took runner-up position in the BMW Championship alongside Sam Burns and Ludvig Ørberg, with Scott moving up 27 places inside the top 30 and Burns moving up 9 places on the leaderboard.
Oberg moved up from seventh to fifth place.
Who dropped out of the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings?
Four players have dropped out of the top 30 to make room for Chris Kirk, Tommy Fleetwood, Bradley and Scott.
The four players who will not compete in Atlanta are No. 31 Brian Harman, No. 33 Jason Day, No. 34 Davis Thompson and No. 35 Denny McCarthy.
Herman finished 25th in the BMW Championship. Day tied for 33rd, Thompson tied for 41st and McCarthy tied for 26th. Those placements did not earn them enough points to keep them on the line.
This year marks the second consecutive year that McCarthy has narrowly missed out on a top 30 finish.
The top 30 for the 2024 Tour Championship is packed with talented players, from young to old, competing for big money, and it goes without saying that they all want to be the man who calls himself the FedExCup champion.
