He's really struggling. He keeps saying, 'I'm going to go back to the podcast.' But I'm like, “Phil, you can barely walk around without screaming in pain.” And I thought, “You know, your memory isn't what it used to be.” He's like, “Tell me about it.” So I think he literally can't just sit down and have a conversation, and I think he would agree. ”
Al Robertson said his father “has good days and bad days.”
“We're trying to do a lot to find ways to make him more comfortable and maybe help his memory. … We have a team of doctors and then another team of doctors.” said Jace. Doctors are looking at all the tests, but they all agree that there is no cure for his disease. ”
Jace said his father went duck hunting with his family 10 days ago.
“But my dad didn't fire and he didn't say much,” Jace said, adding that his father said he was “miserable” while hunting.
“If he can't go duck hunting, that tells you most of what you need to know,” Jace says.
Jayce said doctors are “optimistic about doing some things to slow down” memory loss.
Jace said her father has also been losing weight despite eating well.
