Philadelphia Eagles’ Cooper DeJean, celebrates birthday during Super Bowl LIX with impressive plays

Cooper Dejan's Super Bowl birthday was something even more special on Sunday's second quarter.

The rookie cornerback, who turned 22 on Sunday, is the young star of the Eagles' secondary, and in the big game he reminded me of how good he is.

In the third and 16, Patrick Mahomes, fired for a back-to-back play, unfolded and searched for DeAndre Hopkins, but Dejan was right there to pick it up.

Afterwards, he put the blocker in front of him and took it home and raised the Eagles to 17-0.

It was also the first intercept of his NFL career.

Wright was in Saquon Barkley, where he was celebrating his 28th birthday in New Orleans, but the first half was pretty quiet. But they kept the Chiefs' offense quiet, so it was a defensive show for the birds.

The team is 12-1 in the Super Bowl after intercepting the house. One loss was due to the Atlanta Falcons. The Atlanta Falcons led the Patriots 28-3 in the Super Bowl LI, but allowed 31 unanswered points due to the most devastating losses in Super Bowl history.
