Frosty running back, what a happy, cheerful soul!
A family of stubborn Philadelphia Eagles fans in New Jersey built a snowman that worked as a lucky charm last month to reach the fifth Super Bowl on Sunday.
The absolute snowman giant of the South Jersey family was called “Snokan the Snowman” and was first built on January 12th after the legendary Eagles ran through Saquon Berkley. This is the same day as the team's first playoff game.
Jersey's local Gary and his family didn't expect the Snokan, originally decorated with Eagles gear, to make it all week, but he went into the grass in front of them as the cold temperatures lasted. I stayed.
While Gully and his family were in Florida, the snowman took his first fall when the Eagles were set to play the Rams. By that point, the rest of their neighborhood continued to monitor Snokan, reaching out to their families on vacation to let them know that their giants were bad due to wear.
“I said, 'Gary you have to fix the snowman,' he said, 'I'm in Florida.' He said, “Someone has to fix it.” So Dave and I took control and we let him fix it,” one of our neighbors said. Kaima.
While reviving Snokan, our neighbors added their own toppers to the snowman mountains. Following the first and only title victory, the Eagles hats from the 2018 Super Bowl Parade.
Either the Eagles hat is soaked in magic, or Snokan is the world's luckyest snowman. He stuck, but he didn't stay on the grass in front of him. Gary tracked down anyone willing to sacrifice the freezer for a cause, and Snokan lived in the barrel on Super Bowl Sunday.
“We collected the snow, put it in the cooler and stuffed him with snow every day,” another Eagles fan said.
“And every day we open it and say, 'How about Snokan?” a fan told the local outlet.
Now Snokan proudly stands in his rightful place back to Gary's lawn. The family intends to keep him all night long and is gratefully blessed with pleasant snowman weather.
Other Eagles fans in the region are worried about what the Snokan breakup means for team opportunities.
“Bad signs… not good. Eagles fans told Kaima.
“That's going to cause us a bit of anxiety,” Gary added.
Once the game is over, Snokan will finally be able to rest regardless of who wins. They promise he will come back next season and be better than ever.
“At Snokan, we absolutely trust us,” Gary said.
