The American team won the Presidents Cup, defeating the international team 18.5 to 11.5.
Captain Jim Furyk handled the pressure of the day well and put together an impressive Sunday singles lineup. At times, the Internationals had the upper hand, but that momentum did not last long.
Xander Schauffele defeated Jason Day in the fourth and third games of the opening round, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
Overall, the Americans went 6-3-3 in singles matches, with wins by Schauffele, Russell Henry, Patrick Cantlay, Keegan Bradley, Collin Morikawa and Max Homa.
Eleven of Team USA's 12 players earned points. Schauffele, Cantlay and Morikawa led the team with four players. This event was pretty close on paper, but it still felt like America had the upper hand.
Photographers captured the wives' amazing moments and amazing outfits throughout the week. They managed to get some great examples from both teams, but the American team won, which made them the center of attention.
Below is a gallery commemorating the Americans' incredible Presidents Cup victory.
Best photos of Team USA Presidents Cup celebration
Look at the pure joy on the man's face. These are photos that golf fans use for memes and other instances on social media. For example, Schauffele and his cigars used in the 2021 Ryder Cup are among the most popular, but now fans have a new cigar to celebrate his use.
One of my favorite parts about photography is seeing the joy on their faces. They capture sudden moments that they can remember forever.
As a team, they came together to win something. Also, Furyk spraying champagne everywhere was pure art. My favorite was also the look on Homa's face when Kevin Kisner finally fulfilled his bet.
