What a boast!
fitness guru Ann Mahlam, creator of the cult-favorite Unstructured workout Solid Corehas just signed a contract to purchase a massive condominium at the St. Regis Residences in Sunny Isles, Florida, for sale for $14.6 million.
The 53rd floor unit will be in the St. Regis North Tower, scheduled for completion in 2029. (The South Tower is scheduled for completion by 2027.) Maram is represented by Chad Carroll of Compass.
“We’re buying it as an investment,” Marlum told Gimme Shelter. “You can’t beat it. We think it will be the most beautiful, most exclusive building on the Miami coast.”
The fitness guru, who married life coach Brett Eaton earlier this year, added that she might even decide to move there with her family in five years’ time.
This spacious 5,638-square-foot unit features four bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. A designated media room can double as a fifth bedroom. The unit opens from a private elevator landing. High ceilings and east and west views from two terraces, one of which overlooks the ocean.
Both terraces have a combined area of 1,060 square feet and “offer sunrise and sunset views,” Carroll said, adding that the master bedroom suite, which features a spa-like bathtub facing the ocean, has a walk-in closet “larger than most New York City apartments.”
The 750-foot-tall St. Regis will be the tallest residential building on South Florida’s waterfront when completed. It was designed by Arquitectonica, with interiors by Sao Paulo, Brazil-based designer Patricia Anastasiadis and landscape design by EDSA. A $55 million penthouse in the building’s south tower was also signed in February, Gimme previously reported.
Both towers sit on 4.7 acres and are 435 feet above sea level. Amenities include a private beach club, gym and wellness center.
The St. Regis condo is the 11th property Malam has purchased in the past nine years. In 2021, he purchased a Casa de Campo villa in the Dominican Republic for $3.6 million and sold it 18 months later to baseball legend Albert Pujols for $5.6 million.
The following year, Maram bought a penthouse at 260 Bowery in Nolita for $8.35 million. Sold after 7 months She also worked with Carol to purchase their primary residence in Pinecrest, Florida, a 10,000-square-foot home with a pool, beach volleyball court, sauna, and cold pool.
Mahlum began his career in 2007 by founding Back on My Feet, a Philadelphia-based running club for the homeless. In 2013, after discovering Pilates, he used his savings of $175,000 to start his own fitness club, Solidcore, which he eventually sold for $88.4 million.
Malam now spends his time consulting, speaking and investing in brick-and-mortar health and wellness concepts, he told Gimme.
