There are rumors that Pink might be relocating to New York City to take over Kelly Clarkson’s talk show, according to Page Six.
Sources indicate that the “Get the Party Started” singer, who has been residing in a vineyard on California’s Central Coast for several years, has been frequently visiting New York over the summer and is re-emerging into the public eye.
A witness reported seeing her at Soho House with someone who seemed to be part of her team. “She spent several hours looking over papers and using the computer,” the eyewitness remarked, adding that she “looked beautiful” in a head wrap, despite appearing a bit sweaty.
Meanwhile, speculation arose regarding her marriage. Reports from People and Us Weekly suggested that Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, who have been together for two decades, have separated.
However, Pink pushed back against these claims in an Instagram video: “So I was just informed that my husband and I were separated. I didn’t know,” she said, thanking both publications for the news.
Hart has also been in New York lately, according to his social media updates.
On another note, Pink is reportedly in line to take over the show after Clarkson’s departure. Earlier this month, Clarkson confirmed she would be wrapping up her seven-season run on the NBC talk show.
Sources noted that Pink is guest hosting and appears to be doing well, although it’s unclear how advanced her discussions with producers are regarding a permanent role.
She is set to guest host for a week starting Monday, right before Clarkson concludes her time on the show next month.
No word yet from Pink’s representatives.
