The pilot left unharmed Tuesday morning after a small plane crashed near Hampton Airfield in North Hampton, New Hampshire.
Hampton Fire/Rescue was the first responder at the site of a crash crash off Redington Landing, North Hampton, a town about eight miles south of Portsmouth.
Officials said no injuries were reported on the ground as the plane was carrying no passengers at the time of the crash.
A photo posted on the department's Facebook page shows a small aircraft sitting among the trees next to the landing belt.

Hampton Fire Chief McMahon confirmed during the call that the pilot was evaluated by EMS and not injured.
“The New Hampshire State Police and the FAA have been notified. The scene is in control,” Hampton Fire/Rescue said in a Facebook post.

The Hampton Police Department could not immediately request comment.

McMahon said the New Hampshire Department of Transport's Aviation Bureau is investigating the cause of the crash.

In a call with Fox News Digital, Hampton Airfield said he was unable to share details about the incident under investigation, but that he was “thank you for not being injured.”
