Plane forced to turn around just feet before landing during cyclone

This is the moment a plane had to abort its landing due to strong winds caused by Cyclone Fengal Storm.

An IndiGo flight was hit by heavy rain and strong winds as it landed at Chennai airport in India's Tamil Nadu state on Saturday.

The pilot was forced to climb back into stormy skies after aborting the landing just a few feet above the runway.

IndiGo later confirmed that the aircraft had performed a 'go-around', a standard safety procedure when conditions make landing unsafe.
