A plane carrying a streamer reading “BI-DONE!” flew over a star-studded fundraiser in the Hamptons on Saturday, where the president mingled with big Democratic donors.
The unique aircraft flew from Montauk, the site of Justin Timberlake’s famous DUI arrest last week, to Sag Harbor, passing a lavish event at the home of hedge fund billionaire Barry Rosenstein and his wife, Lizanne.
Sources told The Post that a local Republican donor paid for the banner.
Whether Biden himself saw the message is another story, as he and First Lady Jill Biden spent the afternoon with big names like Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, who were reportedly shelling out $250,000 to attend the party.
Also in attendance, sources said, were Howard and Beth Stern, Loews Hotels CEO Jonathan Tisch and his socialite wife Lizzie, and President Donald Trump’s former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.
Well-heeled attendees were said to be “deeply disappointed” by Biden’s missteps at Thursday’s debate, which raised serious questions about his mental state.
Trump, who is in his 80s, froze at various times throughout the 90-minute debate and made a series of gaffes, including saying his son Beau, who died of cancer in the US, “died in Iraq” and that he “defeated Medicare”.
