During a live comedy event known as “Fishin’ 4 Luv Live,” a Planned Parenthood employee was caught on camera expressing a rather unusual sentiment. He told a performer pretending to be a 19-year-old that he “woke up today wanting to breed.”
This peculiar interaction occurred as part of a show where performers Ivy Wolk, 21, and Roey Rozen, 28, create fictitious dating profiles on platforms like Tinder and Field. They invite unsuspecting matches onto the stage to interact with them for an audience’s amusement.
In this particular performance at Roxy Cinema in TriBeCa, the duo caught the attention of a man who claimed to be a strategist for Planned Parenthood. Wolk, under the guise of a character named “Lana,” shared a provocative statement: “I had an abortion last week. Maybe u were there? U look mad familiar.” She also mentioned that her experience at the provider wasn’t great.
The unnamed employee responded with an unsettling message to this supposed teenager: “I need to make it up to you somehow.” Following up with an oddly suggestive remark, Wolk replied, “Put another baby in me. Let’s have a redo. You can play doctor this time,” which elicited laughs and gasps from the audience.
To everyone’s shock, the Planned Parenthood employee responded bluntly with, “I woke up today wanting to breed.” This comment seemed to heighten the audience’s astonishment, particularly among the more cynical attendees.
Wolk, pushing the boundaries further, even asked the employee for semen, claiming it was his duty to fulfill her request. This went a bit too far, as the room fell silent following his response.
As the audience digested the bizarre spectacle, Rozen remarked, “This is the most insane thing I think we’ve ever seen.”
The Planned Parenthood strategist had an eye-catching Tinder profile, where he boasted about being in an open relationship while declaring his “love” for both “vibrators and vasectomies,” as well as his willingness to “join existing couples.”
Wolk later provided her perspective, stating, “Male horniness is not sacrosanct. Horny guys are not a protected class.” She added that it’s amusing to see a male feminist gravitate towards degrading sexual encounters, calling it a classic contrast.
However, she clarified that she didn’t view the joke as a political statement. “I didn’t feel like I was exposing something… It’s just salacious and funny to make fun of a guy who claims to be a male feminist when in reality he’s into rough stuff,” she explained.
Wolk described “Fishin’ 4 Luv Live” as an exercise in depravity for everyone involved. “Buying a ticket to a show like this and being part of it, well, that’s depraved. We’re all sickos,” she remarked, emphasizing that it’s about bringing that sicko element into the light.
Wolk and Rozen have pulled similar pranks on other participants during their shows, luring them into revealing their feelings, agreeing to be dominated, and composing love poems or raps that are later ridiculed by the crowd.
