Many people believe former President Trump will beat President Joe Biden in their 2024 presidential election matchup, the newspaper’s latest weekly poll found. economist/YouGov found.

Overall, 43% said Trump would win, while 34% said Biden would win. Almost a quarter, or 23%, said they did not know who would win. Specifically, among registered voters, 44% said they believed Trump would win regardless of their personal preferences, compared to 37% who believed Biden would win.
Republicans remain confident that Trump will win (82%), while Democrats remain confident that Biden will win (67%). Additionally, more independents believe Trump will win than Biden: 27% think Biden will win, compared to 39% who say Trump will win. Additionally, 37% of independents believe Trump will be the winner.
In the general election, the two are virtually evenly matched, with Trump’s approval rating at 44% and Biden’s approval rating at 43%. Another 3% support independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. But Trump holds a one-point lead, especially among independents, leading Biden 36% to 35%. Another 10% said they did not know how they would vote.

Interestingly, a majority of Biden voters (58%) said they were voting primarily “against” Trump, whereas a majority of Trump voters (68%) said they were voting “against” Trump rather than against him. He said he was voting in support of the vote.
The survey was conducted March 24-26, 2024 among 1,594 U.S. adults.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Trump weighed in on “immigration crimes,” one of the new categories of crime under President Biden’s administration.

President Trump said, “There is a new form of crime in the United States called “immigration crime.” “Now we would call it the ‘Biden Immigration Crime,’ and normally we would call it the ‘Biden Immigration Crime,’ but that’s too long and it’s too crazy.”
“But we all know that a new category of crime has been added. So we have crime, and we have immigrant crime. It’s vicious, it’s horrible, and these people are very It’s tough. Everyone talks about immigrants coming to America. A lot of these people are really bad people. A lot of them are sick. A lot of them are mentally ill,” President Trump continued, adding that many of these people are really bad people. Conservatives have urged President Trump to focus on the issue as the general election approaches.
