Charlie Kirk’s podcast has surged in popularity following the conservative activist’s unexpected assassination over a month ago.
According to Edison Research, the show jumped 32 spots, entering the top 20 U.S. podcast rankings for the first time during the third quarter—a detail first reported by Bloomberg.
Since Kirk’s tragic death on September 10, executive producer Andrew Corbett and producer Blake Nett have kept the podcast running, featuring interviews with notable conservative figures, politicians, and even current officials from the White House.
Recently, Border Czar Tom Homan was on the show, and this week, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent participated in a podcast interview.
Vice President J.D. Vance has also been a guest twice since Kirk’s passing. In his latest appearance, he mentioned that Kirk’s widow, Erica, is currently staying with the Vance family at their home in Washington, D.C.
“His voice will live on,” Erica expressed during a podcast a few weeks after her husband’s death. “The team is keeping this alive… and it will continue to be the north star of the conservative era.”
The podcast team continues to upload episodes to Kirk’s YouTube channel and manage social media accounts.
As of Friday, “The Charlie Kirk Show” was ranked No. 30 on Apple Podcasts’ top list but had slipped to No. 76 on Spotify. Still, it generally performs well on Spotify’s U.S. podcast rankings.
In the week following his death, Kirk’s books and podcasts rapidly gained traction across major platforms.
His upcoming book, “Stop, In God’s Name: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Change Your Life,” reached the top position as Amazon’s best-selling book, three months before its scheduled December release.
This guide on “how to disconnect, recharge, and reconnect with God, family, and yourself” outperformed upcoming releases from former Vice President Kamala Harris and Eric Trump.
Kirk’s previous book, “The College Scam,” which critiques indoctrination in American universities, was the No. 5 bestseller on Amazon during the same week.
His 2020 audiobook, “The MAGA Doctrine,” which runs for six and a half hours, climbed to No. 3 on both Audible’s and Apple’s top audiobook lists.
Guests on the podcast often talk about honoring Kirk’s legacy. The 31-year-old political figure has become influential among young conservatives.
“Part of keeping Charlie’s memory alive is keeping the mission alive,” Vance noted on the podcast. “No one can replace Charlie, but if we all contribute, we can help ensure that Charlie’s mission lasts long after he’s gone.”
