All snacks em!
One flamin hot cheat shaped like an iconic Pokemon was purchased at auction for an astounding $88,000.
“Cheetozard” is a 3-inch long, red-hot, swollen snack that's somewhat similar to the fire-breathing Pokemon Monster Charizard, sold this week to anonymous buyers on Goldin's auction website.
Charizard is one of the original and most popular Pokemon in the franchise's long-running games and TV series.
“It was discovered and preserved by collectibles of No. 1 and Target between 2018-20222,” Goldin said, adding that last year its popularity on social media has skyrocketed due to its resemblance to fictional creatures.
It was later acquired by a memorial site. Arena Club It was promoted in November 2024 as “The World's Rareest Charizard.”
The aging portion of the processed cornmeal is attached to a custom Pokemon card and locked inside a transparent storage box that is likely to prevent the cheatzard from collapse into the elements.
The bid began at $275 on February 11th, but surged to a $72,000 bid on Sunday.
A normal flavored cheat similar to the murdered Gorilla Harambe sold on eBay in 2017 for almost $100,000.
