Argentina's Ministry of Justice reportedly on Sunday formally charged five defendants in connection with the death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne.
Judge Laura Graciela Bruniard ordered the detention of several people, including Payne's friend Roger Nores, who was charged with manslaughter. According to Head to local outlet Infobae. Mr. Payne, 30, died on October 16 after falling from the third floor of Hotel Casa Sur in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires.
Sources told Infobae that Bruniard ordered the two defendants into preventive detention and seized some of their property.

The newspaper reported that security cameras captured the conversation between Paiz and Payne, which was presented in court. The charges brought against Paiz carry a sentence of four to 15 years in prison.
