Police officer tied to organized crime used his badge to attract women on apps, then assaulted them.

A police officer from Long Island, already accused of managing a high-end brothel, is now facing additional charges. Prosecutors say George Trimiliozzi exploited his badge to gain trust before allegedly sexually assaulting two women he met through a dating app after their initial dates.

The 56-year-old Trimiliozzi, a Suffolk County police officer and father of two, is facing serious felony accusations, including first-degree sexual abuse and third-degree rape, related to incidents that occurred in 2021 and 2022 in Patchogue and Hampton Bays.

“The police officers have pledged their vows to protect us,” stated Suffolk DA Raymond Tierney. “These allegations are deeply disturbing. I use my office to safeguard everyone equally, without fear or favor.”

Trimiliozzi, who has over 18 years of service and previously received commendations from the Secret Service, appeared in a gray suit and handcuffs at Riverhead court, where he pleaded not guilty to the new allegations.

In the first incident, the prosecutor mentioned that Trimiliozzi met a woman identified as Jane Doe #1 on a dating site in May 2021. After their date, he invited her to his car for a chat. However, once inside, he moved to the passenger seat and allegedly began groping her. When she attempted to leave, he reportedly blocked her exit by closing the door and using his body to restrain her.

A year later, in June 2022, prosecutors claimed that Trimiliozzi raped a second woman, Jane Doe #2, after picking her up on his bike. Following their date, she invited him into her home, thinking he was too intoxicated to drive. Once in her bedroom, he allegedly assaulted her, pushing her into unconsciousness.

The court set his bail at half of what prosecutors had sought, which was around $50,000, noting that he had already posted bail related to a previous prostitution case.

Defense attorney William Keahon argued that the charges appeared to be a means of filing claims in court, emphasizing that no witnesses or evidence had yet been presented. “The court was informed that witnesses have not testified,” Keahon said. “There hasn’t been any evidence submitted at this stage.”

He portrayed Trimiliozzi as a decorated officer with multiple commendations, who reportedly made more arrests than any other officer in the department within a year.

If convicted of the new charge, Trimiliozzi could face up to seven years in prison, as it falls under violent felony classifications.

These new allegations come amid a broader scandal involving the long-serving officer, who was charged last year in connection to a large prostitution operation linked to two Long Island locations, including the infamous mob-run site on Sunrise Highway.

Trimiliozzi, along with three alleged accomplices (including a suspended gym teacher and an associate of the mob), allegedly laundered nearly $2 million from the brothel and managed lease agreements for spaces that were essentially funded by tips to sex workers.

The DA’s investigation into Trimiliozzi began in 2021 during an overnight shift at the third precinct. He reportedly responded in uniform to a robbery reported at a Holbrook brothel, despite lacking jurisdiction, which raised red flags and initiated corruption probes. This came after complaints about illegal activities from spa workers.

Trimiliozzi was arrested in October 2024, and by then, he had already been suspended without pay due to unrelated misconduct allegations.

While he’s scheduled to return to court on Thursday, that date is likely to be postponed. Prosecutors noted that the sexual abuse cases will be tried alongside ongoing prostitution and corruption allegations, leaving Trimiliozzi to face more than twelve felony charges in total.
