Donald Trump has added a new endorsement to his belt ahead of the November general election.

During a visit to Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday, President Trump spoke about the need to equip our nation’s law enforcement agencies rather than paralyze them.

James Tignanelli, president of the Michigan State Police Officers Association, also joined on stage. Tignanelli said the group supported Trump in 2016 and 2020 and is backing Trump as a presidential candidate again.

In his statement of support, Tignanelli pointed to the influx of unauthorized immigrants under President Biden’s administration. As a result, it became more difficult for law enforcement officials to carry out their duties.

“We cannot allow this situation to continue,” Tignanelli said.

President Trump thanked the association for its support and said it was a great honor.
