Domestic Dispute at Frankie Valli’s Home
Authorities were called to Frankie Valli’s residence on Sunday following a reported domestic incident. Apparently, his son violated a restraining order by being present at the house.
According to sources cited by TMZ, police arrived at the legendary singer’s home around 5 p.m. A 38-year-old man, believed to be Frankie Valli’s son, was involved in an altercation, despite the existing restraining order. This individual has been identified as Francesco Valli. Another account noted that an emergency call was made concerning Francesco’s presence.
A representative mentioned to TMZ that the situation was a “private family matter” that was resolved before law enforcement arrived. No arrests were reported at the scene.
Frankie Valli has reportedly been dealing with significant family issues, culminating in a permanent restraining order obtained in April 2024 against Francesco. The singer’s other son, Emilio, secured the order alleging that Francesco had attempted to break into their father’s home and had made threats against them, according to court filings acquired by TMZ.
The restraining order mandates that Francesco must stay away from his father. There has been a noticeable history of tension, with legal documents suggesting Francesco exhibited erratic behavior and potentially struggled with substance abuse. Emilio has alleged that his brother even sold some of their father’s possessions to fund his habits, leading to a financial cut-off, which, in turn, created further discord within the family.
At 92 years old, Valli has chosen not to publicly discuss the ongoing tensions within his family.
