Police shooting of driver Jamal Wali stated that he should have fought alongside the Taliban before deadly traffic-stop incident.

A deadly exchange during a traffic stop was captured on video, featuring an armed driver who shouted, “I should have served as an F-King Taliban,” shot at an officer, and later claimed he had been killed.

Jamal Wali, 36, was approached by a police officer in Fairfax, Virginia, on April 23. Upon the officer’s arrival, he quickly announced he was armed and became increasingly agitated.

“I have a gun and I’m armed,” Wali yelled as officers approached the driver’s side of his 1999 Toyota Corolla.

“I don’t have a license. I’m back, sitting in the F-King car and leaving,” he demanded, his tone confrontational. “So, what do you want to do?”

The man became emotional, expressing frustration over not having vehicle registration, refusing to give his name, attempting to reach for a weapon, and calling for backup.

“I should have served as F-King Taliban,” Wali said, further adding, “They’re better than you.”

While waiting for additional officers, he voiced his displeasure about being in the U.S., claiming, “I brought him here.”

Backup soon arrived, with one officer approaching from the passenger side and another directly engaging Wali from the driver’s side, promptly trying to secure his wrist.

In a flash, Wali pulled a handgun, cocked it, and fired several rounds.

The officer managed to shoot Wali four times in response, while the other officer quickly returned fire, as reported.

Emergency measures were taken by law enforcement, but Wali was declared dead later that day at a local hospital.

Two officers were hospitalized with serious injuries following the incident.

Wali claimed he had four children and had moved to the U.S. in 2014.

In a moment of anger, he expressed, “You brought me to this terrible country and I almost die every day.”

“I can’t get a job. I can’t get a disability. And they took my F-King license because I can’t pay insurance. So why are you trying to kill me?”
