Breitbart News is set to host a significant policy event titled “AI is Here: What to Fear, What to Embrace,” focusing on the role of artificial intelligence as it becomes more integrated into everyday life for Americans.

This event, in collaboration with Innovation Council Action, will feature discussions with industry experts who will delve into the various challenges and opportunities presented by AI development.

Scheduled for Tuesday, August 25th in Washington, DC, the event promises insights from leading companies in this intricate and promising sector. According to Breitbart News, Emile Michael, Under Secretary of the Army for Research and Engineering, is notable for his success in multiple technology ventures, including Uber. He’s often portrayed as a quintessential embodiment of the American Dream, as emphasized by President Trump.

Trump highlighted Michael’s experience as a special assistant to the Secretary of Defense during his term as a White House fellow. In a statement about his nominated “America First Patriot,” he praised Michael as “one of the most respected leaders in the technology industry.”

A first-generation immigrant, Michael is recognized by the U.S. Department of the Army for his track record in spotting technological trends, investing in various sectors like AI, fintech, quantum computing, and logistics, and identifying companies poised for significant growth. Recently, he noted how he has made AI a key priority within the department.
