Recent polls show that former vice president Kamala Harris is the best choice for Democrats to run for president in the 2028 presidential election.

It was conducted in early 2028 major polls. Morning consultationthe failed 2024 Democratic presidential candidate won 36% of support from Democrats and independent voters of democracy.
Harris, 60, was leading her closest potential competitor in double digits. This was former Transport Secretary Pete Battigigue, who only received 10% support from his party.
Additionally, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.), who is on tours across the United States to oppose Trump's policies with progressive Vermont independence Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), came third with 5%.
However, Harris has yet to announce his intention to run again in 2028.
Last November, Harris lost in a way that was blown away until now.47th President Donald Trump has lost popularity votes, electoral colleges and all swing states.
Her humiliating loss also came after she raised more than $1 billion from Democratic donors during the execution of her campaign.
Meanwhile, Harris is debating to allies whether she will run for governor in California in 2026, leaving her political options open.
Newsom and Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz also received 5% of the support, the polls said.
Additionally, “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro both earned 4% of support.
