Popeyes Partners with The Surf Lodge for Summer Dining Experience

The Hamptons Surf Lodge, already famous for its impressive chicken tender towers, is teaming up with Popeyes to create a unique Louisiana-style dining experience for guests. This collaboration is reportedly the first of its kind for both establishments during the summer season.

The lodge’s $150 chicken tender tower, which comes with fries and dipping sauce, has gained a bit of a cult following. Reviews on TikTok from last year included enthusiastic remarks like “Amazing!” and “Maybe the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. Truly worth it.”

But if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, there are also hot dog towers available, which serve as an alternative to seafood towers.

Surf Lodge serves as a hotel, restaurant, and live music venue in Montauk, Long Island, drawing in celebrities like Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Snoop Dogg, among others.

Popeyes noted, “At Surf Lodge, guests will find our Louisiana chicken at the heart of every social gathering, featuring crispy, hand-breaded tenders full of flavor.” The tenders are presented in multi-level towers with Popeyes dipping sauces, aiming to create a “premium culinary experience.”

The price of the chicken tender tower aligns with Surf Lodge’s upscale atmosphere. There are also chicken tender boxes available starting at $40 for two servings. Popeyes claims this tower will be “the most photographed food moment of the summer.”

“This is an iconic collaboration combining our signature chicken tender towers with the unbeatable taste of Popeyes,” a representative said.

Surf Lodge’s Summer Concert Series, which runs through Labor Day, features major artists, including Snoop Dogg and Teddy Swims. This partnership is poised to place Popeyes at the center of one of the East Coast’s top music venues, where the best performers meet an energetic summer scene.

Matt Rubin, Popeyes’ chief marketing officer for North America, expressed excitement about merging Popeyes’ vibrant flavor with this cultural destination. “With our exclusive partnership, we’re aiming to present a new, elevated version of the Popeyes experience,” he noted.

The Surf Lodge, which opened in 2008 and expanded in 2019 to include a snow lodge in Aspen, will also see pop-up menu items and custom products from Popeyes throughout the season.

Jayma Cardoso, the founder and creative director of Surf Lodge, shared her excitement about the partnership: “It feels very special and takes it to the next level. This collaboration makes sense and reflects what makes The Surf Lodge unique.”

Chicken tenders at the lodge have gained notoriety beyond Montauk, capturing attention on social media and continuing to be one of the venue’s signature items.

Interestingly, Montauk is currently featured on season 11 of Bravo’s reality show “Summer House,” which has sparked discussions about how often the cast orders chicken tenders. Reddit users have noted that, after a few drinks, tenders can be the most dependable food choice.

Ultimately, feedback from fans seems to support this culinary venture. As one resident remarked, “Surf Lodge chicken tenders and fries are the best.” Another chimed in, affirming, “As a Long Island girl, yes, this is the correct answer.”
