Jesse Jane, one of the “most famous porn stars” of the early 2000s, was found dead in January alongside her boyfriend. Her cause of death was not revealed until more than five months later.
Jane, whose real name was Cindy Taylor, was found dead in her Oklahoma home in late January alongside her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, 33. At the time, reports speculated that the 43-year-old’s death was the result of a “drug-related” incident.
Both Jane and Hasenmuller were confirmed to have died from an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl. report by Oklahoman.
The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner also noted in its autopsy report that the porn star’s body had already begun to decompose when it was discovered.
The coroner reportedly plans to release the first pages of his autopsy report on Sunday and a full report on July 17.
Authorities were called to Hasenmueller’s Moore, Oklahoma, home in late January to conduct a welfare check after his employer noticed he hadn’t shown up to work for several days, and found Jane and her boyfriend dead.
