Porsche, Audi vehicles are being recalled

Over 18,000 Porsche cars have been recalled due to airbag and rear camera issues.

Porsche Cars North America issued two recalls last week. One was 9,735 for the 2022-2023 Taycan Sports Cars and the other was 8,571 for the 2024-2025 Macan Electric Crossovers, with documents submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The affected Taycans recall report said that “manufacturing errors” in the resident classification system for “activating/deactivating automatic airbags” could cause passenger airbags to be turned off.
