Taylor Swift's townhouse in New York City appears to have been the target of another attempted break-in, this time near the singer's Tribeca home on Saturday when police responded to a report of a disorderly person. It was by a man who was arrested.
Witnesses said the man tried unsuccessfully to enter the townhouse in the early afternoon.
Police have not confirmed the attempted break-in to Swift's home, but police arrested a man on the same street after a report of him trying to open the door to a building, an NYPD spokesperson said Sunday. It was announced on . A spokesperson said the man was charged out of Brooklyn on an unrelated 2017 warrant for failure to respond to a summons.

Authorities have not released the man's name.
An email seeking comment was sent Sunday to a representative for the “You Belong With Me” singer. It is not clear whether she was at her home at the time. She traveled to the Buffalo, New York, area on Sunday, where her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was scheduled to play in an NFL playoff game against the Buffalo Bills in the evening.

The Tribeca townhouse was the subject of several other break-ins and attempted break-ins while Swift was away, including one by an alleged stalker.
In 2022, a man was charged with trespassing and stalking after authorities say he entered two Tribeca residences associated with Swift. Also that year, a man was arrested after crashing his car into a townhouse, and he reportedly told police he wouldn't leave until he met Swift.

In 2018, another man broke into her townhouse while she was napping, police said. A year later, after serving a prison sentence, the same man was charged with another burglary.
Police said stalkers were also arrested at her other homes, including homes in Beverly Hills, California and Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
