Power of His Endorsement Is ‘Alive and Well’

Brian Jack secured a solid victory in the Republican primary runoff election for Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District, but his landmark victory was due in large part to the endorsement and support of former President Donald Trump.

Jack, a former Trump campaign adviser, won the runoff election by more than 20 points over fellow Republican Georgia Senator Mike Duggan.

In his victory speech on Tuesday night, Jack began by thanking God “for putting us here tonight and allowing us to be here,” and then credited Trump with leading him to victory.

“Frankly, I’m here for political reasons. My former boss for eight years, the 45th and 47th President of the United States, is the reason we’re here. Thank you so much, Mr. President,” Jack said, delivering his message directly to establishment media.

“He just had a rally in Wisconsin and I think it’s fair to say, and it’s fair to say the power of Trump support is alive and well, and it’s no surprise to the media, too. Thank you so much,” Trump said to applause.

Jack expanded on this point to Breitbart News, explaining, “When President Trump endorsed me, I had 1% approval rating. Two months later, I had 47% approval rating in the first round of the primaries.”

“Tonight, one month later, I won the runoff with 63% of the vote,” he said, adding, “With President Trump’s support, my campaign soared from 1% to 63% in four months. I am excited to see how this campaign goes.”
