The Grand Prize prize is currently estimated at $800 million and includes a one-time prize. cash payment options $384.8 million. The winner typically chooses the prize over the annuity option, which is paid out as one immediate payment followed by her 29 annual payments.
The next draw will be held on Monday night. The draw takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The last jackpot was won on January 1st by a player from Michigan. The grand prize was $842.4 million. This was the 10th largest Powerball prize ever won.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. More than half of the revenue from ticket sales remains in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold, the game said.
