Spencer Pratt Shifts Tone in Los Angeles Mayoral Campaign
Reality TV personality and Republican candidate Spencer Pratt declared that the “campaign part” of his effort to improve Los Angeles is finished, and he described the situation as “war.” He mentioned possessing recordings that, he claims, could force a rival candidate to “resign in shame.”
In a post on X, Pratt expressed skepticism about people thinking they could easily dismiss him after Bass and Raman were named as frontrunners in the mayoral primary. He claimed to have evidence of “actions and statements” that could lead to one candidate’s downfall, stating that he plans to unveil this during the general election.
“Listen up, I didn’t take this role for political power. I took it to expose the corrupt system we have here, and that hasn’t changed,” Pratt commented. “You’re just sitting through pointless meetings at City Hall while I’m ready to shake things up. Now that I don’t have to worry about CNN’s audience, I’m going to bring some energy to this. There’s no campaign for me; the law is currently restricting me. It’s war time in Los Angeles.”
He further remarked that residents are “suffering because of two fools” and described the choice as “stupid or stupid.”
Pratt, who launched his mayoral campaign in January after losing his home in a fire the previous year, noted that many local business figures have reached out to him, sharing that they’re “packing up and leaving town.”
“My aim remains the same. I’m determined to stop this corrupt machine, and I will do so,” he insisted. “If you thought we uncovered a lot during this campaign, just wait. We have recordings of one of our disgraced candidates that could lead to a significant resignation. We’re saving it for the general election. Now it’s time to pick your side and prove it; you’ll see.”
Pratt added that Bass and Raman ought to consider “the possibility” that one of their team members might be captured in a recording doing or saying something that would warrant a scandalous exit.
Reports suggest that Bass and Raman are likely to win the mayoral race, with Raman currently ahead of Pratt as the tally of mail-in ballots continues this week.
